Endra J.P. Harjanto (“Endra”) is an Indonesian-qualified lawyer with extensive experience across private practice and in-house roles, advising multinational corporations, state-owned enterprises, and leading domestic companies on high-value transactions, complex disputes, and critical regulatory matters.

With an LL.B. (S.H. – Bachelor of Laws) from Universitas Gadjah Mada and an LL.M. (Master of Laws) in European Union Law from the University of Hamburg, Endra combines strong local execution with international legal standards. He gained cross-border exposure through an internship at Fleet Hamburg LLP, a Legal 500–ranked firm, equipping him to manage multi-jurisdictional and high-stakes matters.
Endra’s practice focuses on corporate and commercial transactions, litigation and arbitration, bankruptcy and insolvency, and regulatory strategy in the retail, technology, telecommunications, and media sectors. He has acted in matters involving the defence of one of Indonesia’s largest telecommunications companies against bankruptcy proceedings and has represented a state-owned enterprise in international arbitration proceedings seated in Geneva. He has also handled a number of employment and industrial relations matters, including employment disputes, terminations, and proceedings before the Industrial Relations Court, as well as select family law cases, particularly those involving contentious issues and asset-related considerations.

Beyond private practice, Endra has held senior in-house legal leadership roles at major retail groups. He served as Legal Manager of IKEA Indonesia, leading legal functions across retail, distribution, and construction entities. He subsequently acted as Senior Legal & License Manager at one of Indonesia’s oldest modern supermarket retailers, where he oversaw legal operations, regulatory compliance, licensing, and litigation, and led enterprise-wide risk management and dispute control for large-scale operations. Under his leadership, the IKEA Indonesia legal team was recognized by Hukum Online in 2024 as a Notable Enterprise in Regulatory Compliance for the Wholesale and Retail sector.

Endra is a licensed advocate and a member of the Indonesian Advocates Association (PERADI). He is fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English, and has basic proficiency in German (Deutsch).
