Alexander Samuel Paruhum (“Alex”) is a dispute resolution lawyer with broad experience across civil and criminal litigation, international arbitration, intellectual property disputes, and complex corporate matters. Alex holds both a Bachelor of Laws (S.H.) and a Master of Laws (M.H.) from Universitas Indonesia, one of Indonesia’s most prestigious universities.

Alex regularly represents and advises clients in complex proceedings before all levels of the Indonesian courts and in international arbitration conducted under the rules of leading arbitral institutions. His experience includes high-profile, cross-border disputes, where he has assisted domestic and international clients in navigating commercial, investment, and regulatory challenges and developing strategic legal solutions.

Alex is a licensed advocate and a member of the Indonesian Bar Association (PERADI). Alex is also an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb), reflecting his strong grounding in arbitration and alternative dispute resolution and his commitment to international best practices.
