Alexander Samuel Paruhum (“Alex”) is a dispute resolution lawyer with broad experience across civil and criminal defense litigation, international arbitration, intellectual property disputes, and complex corporate matters. Alex holds both a Bachelor of Laws (S.H.) and a Master of Laws (M.H.) from Universitas Indonesia, one of Indonesia’s most prestigious universities.

Alex has extensive experience representing and advising clients in complex disputes before all levels of the Indonesian courts, as well as in domestic and international arbitration conducted under the rules of leading arbitral institutions. His experience includes high-profile cross-border matters, where he has assisted domestic and international clients in navigating commercial, investment, and regulatory challenges, while developing strategic and commercially focused legal solutions.

Alex is admitted to practice law in Indonesia and is a member of the Indonesian Bar Association (PERADI). He is also an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb), reflecting his strong foundation in arbitration and alternative dispute resolution, as well as his commitment to international best practices.
